Automatic transfer switches are often used in conjunction with diesel generators.So how to install the automatic transfer switch for generator?
Disconnect each circuit breaker of the self-provided power supply one by one in the following sequence:
Automaric transfer switch box Self-provided power breaker → All circuit breakers in the power distribution cabinet → main switch of the generator → Switch the double switch to the mains power supply side.
Stop the diesel engine according to the steps.
Close each circuit breaker one by one from the main switch of mains power supply to each branch switch in sequence, and place the circuit breaker of mains power supply from the dual power automatic transfer switch box in the closed position. Debug the dual power supply automatic transfer switch
First of all, put the dual power supply on the adjustment table, phase line and neutral line (neutral line) according to the position, can not be connected wrong.
When connecting the 3-pole switch, connect the common and standby neutral wires to the neutral terminals (NN and RN).
After the wiring is finished, check the installed line again, and then turn on the main switch of the debugging station to turn on the common and standby power supply.
When the dual power transfer switch is in auto-input/auto-complex mode and the two power supplies are normal, the switch should be automatically converted to the common power supply position.
Set the common power supply NA, NB, NC, and NN. If any phase is disconnected, the dual power supply should be switched to the standby power supply. If the common power supply recovers, switch to the common power supply again.
Adjust any phase of the common power supply to below the specified voltage value (i.e. undervoltage state), and the dual power supply should be converted to the standby power supply. When the common power supply recovers, switch to the common power supply again.
If any phase of the standby power supply is out of phase, the alarm should emit alarm sound.
If the common power supply and the standby power supply are disconnected, the corresponding display value on the controller should disappear.
When the dual power supply is set to manual operation mode, the controller manually operates the button, and you need to freely switch between the common power supply and the standby power supply. The display is accurate.
Operate the double split keys on the controller. Double power supply should be cut off the common and standby power supply at the same time, hit the double point position.
Adjust the multimeter to AC750V, and test the voltage of the output terminals of the common and standby power indicators respectively.
If the dual power automatic transfer switch provides the generator function, adjust the multimeter to the buzzer range and survey the signal terminals of the generator. When the common power supply is normal, the buzzer does not sound. When the common power supply phase A or all power off, the buzzer emits beeps, if the common power supply does not have electricity and the buzzer does not sound to explain the power signal has A problem.
When the switch is equipped with DC24V fire protection function, use DC24V voltage to survey the fire alarm terminal, and the positive and negative extreme ports of the positive and negative terminals corresponding to the power supply. At this time, the dual power supply switch should automatically split and break.
Under special circumstances, it is necessary to operate the switch by the staff, first through the controller to operate the double points, and then use the special handle switch. Do not turn the switch in the wrong direction or exert too much force.
After the commissioning of the dual power supply is complete, make sure that the power supply is turned off first, and then release the power cables. Break the power supply connection cable.
